Brief Company Profile

Celtic Journeys, LLC, is a privately owned company providing excellence in travel to Scotland. My career in the travel industry began in 1993 as a retail travel agent. A deep passion for Scotland facilitated the completion of VisitScotland's certification of ScotsMaster in 2003. Celtic Journeys was formed with a short list of travelers seeking the skills of a travel specialist, and has since grown to include the operation of unique group tours, as well as affinity groups and independent travel.

Scotland has always held a special place in my heart. In 2004, with limited resources, a sound foundation of travel knowledge, and a good bit of determination, I opened the doors of Celtic Journeys and have been fortunate to live a dream since then. It's my dedication to make dreams come true for anyone who has an affinity for Bonnie Scotland, to show the country the way that it should be seen, connecting travelers with the history, culture, and the people.

Our escorted tours take you to areas of Scotland on the "road less traveled" -- to meet the people, learn the history, hear the traditional music, taste the whisky, walk among timeless archaeological monuments, see the ever-changing scenery. Outside of the mainland, destinations include Western Isles (Lewis, Harris, Skye, Mull, and Iona), the Northern Isles (Orkney and Shetland), and the Highlands on the original Outlander Tour(R), based on the series by Diana Gabaldon.

Now a nationally recognized company, Celtic Journeys maintains a strong media presence with exposure in Scottish Life, Highlander, Britain, Discover Britain, English Home, English Garden, Scotland, and Celtic Life International magazines, and has been featured in publications in the U.S. and Scotland, including the Tampa Tribune, Scottish Life Magazine, The Glasgow Herald, Scottish Memories, and the Huffington Post.

Travelers from as far away as Australia, South America, and Alaska have returned to repeat their experience with Celtic Journeys, and I look forward to the opportunity of sharing the very best of Scotland with you too!
